How do I book a mobile car detail?
Call or text Alum at (614) 695-2656. Share the service you want, your vehicle, address and anything that may need extra work. Andy may ask for photos of heavy stains, pet hair or mud before confirming what the package can cover. Alum is open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Andy confirms your appointment time after reviewing the request.
Can you detail my car at my home, apartment or office?
Yes. Alum serves Westerville, Worthington and nearby Columbus at homes, apartments, offices and other permitted locations with enough safe working space. If you are in shared parking, confirm detailing is allowed and share any gate or access instructions.
How long does a car detail take?
Plan for up to roughly two hours on site for an Interior Detail, before travel. An Exterior Detail is estimated at 45 to 90 minutes, and a Complete Detail at 3 to 4 hours. These are planning estimates; travel, setup and vehicle condition can change the timing.
How much does mobile car detailing cost?
The passenger-vehicle package prices are $215 for Interior Detail, $145 for Exterior Detail and $340 for Complete Detail. Vehicle size or condition does not add a surcharge to these packages. If heavy staining, pet hair or mud may exceed the package scope, Alum will discuss what can be covered before confirming the appointment.
Do I need to provide water or electricity?
No. Alum brings water and a generator to the mobile appointment. You only need a safe place with enough room to work where detailing is allowed.
What happens if it rains on my appointment day?
If rain or other weather makes the work unsafe or impractical, Alum will move the appointment to the next available time.

Skip the drive to a detailing shop. Alum brings water, a generator and the equipment needed for the job to permitted locations. You only need enough safe space to work around the vehicle.

Interior Detail includes a dust blowout and vacuum; deep cleaning for plastics, leather, carpets and glass; steam cleaning; carpet shampoo; and UV protection. Exterior Detail includes a pre-foam rinse, hand wash, tires, wheels, wheel wells, door jambs, wax protection and tire shine. Complete Detail combines both in one visit.
