The standard exterior detail starts at $130 and it is a contact hand wash, not a tunnel.
It begins with a pre-foam and rinse to lift loose grit off the paint before anything touches it, then the wheels, tires and wheel wells.
The wash itself is a foam and a two-bucket hand wash, followed by tar and bug removal and a clay treatment that pulls bonded contamination out of the clear coat and leaves the paint smooth rather than merely clean.
It finishes with the door jams, tire shine, and a spray wax that Alum Auto rates at three to nine weeks of protection. That figure is their own published one and it is the only paint durability number stated anywhere on this site.
Headlight restoration and an engine bay detail are priced separately, at $90 and $100.
